I am passionate about working with clients across the lifespan from adolescence to older adults with a range of experiences including substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Working from a trauma-informed lens, I view therapy as a collaborative effort where individuals and families can build upon their resiliency and cope with whatever stressors that life has presented. Coming from an integrative perspective, I recognize that every person and family has their own unique history and set of concerns and I want to meet you where you are in your journey as a partner in self-discovery and change. Frameworks that I utilize include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and a person-centered foundation. The first step I take as a therapist is creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for individuals to tap into their inner resources and overcome their challenges. Therapy is a powerful resource when a major crisis occurs as well as for those who are doing well and are seeking to learn more about themselves. I believe that individuals and families inherently have the capacity to gain self-awareness and implement positive changes if the conditions are present to promote growth. It would be my pleasure to help you discover your strengths and be a part of your journey of health and healing.
