I take a trauma sensitive approach with an awareness that many of us moved through challenges in ways that leave us and our nervous system's burdened and limited. I have chosen to train in the methods which resonate most with my style of practice and have been researched to have positive outcomes for the reduction of PTSD, Insomnia, Mood, Anxiety, Depression and ADHD symptoms in adults. I am also a Safe and Sound Protocol Facilitator and a Yoga Nidra Meditation teacher. As a social worker, I recognize the importance of being informed as well as exercising humility in relationship to social injustice, discrimination and oppression as it impacts individual, family and community well-being. I am an ally to and LGBTQ affirming. I have a training and experience in family and relational systems therapy, body-psychotherapy therapy, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, EMDR, mindfulness-based and trauma-informed meditation and movement therapy. Together we can explore your goals and make a plan to work to restore your inner balance.
