Hello, I am Dr. Martha I. Daggett. Welcome to Bonao Family Therapy. Bonao comes from a town in the Dominican Republic where I grew up. The Hydrangea is the local flower. I have experience, knowledge, and passion in working with those who have experienced trauma, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). I also want to educate people about the impact of trauma and toxic stress on the brain and body. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I am trained in Crisis Intervention, Trauma, Family Therapy, Case Management, and Public Speaking. I also have certification in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I am a strong community and social services professional with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Andrews University, a Master's in Counseling Psychology, and a doctorate in Social Work from California Baptist University.
