Mary Beth is a Licensed Master Social Worker in both Texas and New Mexico. She holds a Master of Science in Social Work with a concentration in mental health. With over 19 years of experience working with individuals who have been affected by domestic violence and intimate partner violence, Mary Beth has also served patients in mental health and substance abuse facilities, has provided street outreach to persons living with HIV, and has helped victims of domestic violence find their way from victimhood to survivorship. Focusing on each person’s physical and emotional safety, Mary Beth will create a safe space free from judgment. She is interested in working with people who are focused on their own emotional healing. Mary Beth is at a place in her career where she has chosen to pursue her clinical license to help others as a mental health practitioner so she can focus on helping them heal. She has experience in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and empowering others through self-advocacy. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Mary Beth is honest, genuine, and open-minded. She ensures holding a safe, welcoming, and encouraging space for those whom she works with, and she enjoys meeting people where they’re at in their healing journeys. Mary Beth hopes to work with and learn from others as they create their own paths of recovery and healing. Mary Beth also has experience working with active duty military and veterans.
