Introduction

Therapy can be a beneficial process to help one clarify goals, cope with problems, manage transitions and support relationships. As a psychodynamic and relational practitioner, I help you to explore your feelings and understand your early attachment and relationships to better cope with and manage what is happening today. In therapy together, we can address difficult subjects. As a white, queer and cis clinical social worker, I hold a social justice and anti-oppressive framework, and think about the person in their environment. Because I am a relational therapist, I believe that individuals make change and heal in connection with others. In my warm and direct style, I will share my thoughts with you as well as listen deeply. In our work together, my approach would be focused on helping you feel supported and challenged to make changes that can lead to a better quality of life. I utilize principles of psychodynamic treatment, relational therapy, attachment and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I specialize in working with adults and emerging adults seeking help with anxiety, trauma, family of origin dynamics, relationships, sexuality, loss, life decisions and transitions. I also have experience in working with LGBTQQIA adults and teens. I have a particular interest in supporting those coping with financial stress and even financial toxicity and hold a post graduate certificate in Financial Social Work. I have successfully helped clients with a wide range of issues for over 20 years. I do not accept health insurance or facilitate the processing of reimbursement claims. However, I will generate a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement
