Introduction

I believe beginning the process of therapy is a huge step towards strengthening your overall well-being. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, substance use, or life transitions I am here to assist in your mental health recovery. I have been working in the field of mental health and substance use since 2015 in a variety of therapeutic settings including residential treatment, a community integration mental health program, a prevention program based in a Houston private high school, The Menninger Clinic’s adolescent treatment program, and the J. Flowers Health Institute. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I specialize in working with young adults and adolescents with complex mental health issues, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. As a clinician I work with you to identify your therapeutic goals and walk along side you in the healing process. I believe in approaching those struggling with substance use from a non-judgmental stance and I have a deep understanding of the complexities of what living with a substance use disorder is like for both the individual and their loved ones due to my own experience having close loved ones in treatment for substance use throughout my life.
