Mary Huber

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Mary Huber
Specialties: Anxiety, Attachment Issues, Body Image Disorders, Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia,

Introduction

My approach is to compassionately understand symptoms and patterns as coping mechanisms and manifestations of underlying core issues and beliefs which developed in response to one's experiences. The goal is to help clients develop more understanding, self-acceptance and to become empowered to make needed changes for greater freedom and authenticity. I work with a broad array of challenges that people face, such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, life transitions, overcoming trauma, food/body image issues and eating disorders. Blending conventional and alternative therapies such as Mindfulness and Spirituality, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, DBT, and EMDR, I tailor sessions to meet each client's individual needs.
