Mary Rollins
Introduction
My name is Mary Rollins and I have been in the healthcare field in one form or another since I was 16 years old. I started my career in healthcare as a certified nurse aide when I was in high school. From there I moved on to graduate from Eastern Kentucky University with an Associate Degree in Nursing. I didn't stop there. I went on to earn my BSN and then MSN in Nursing Education from Liberty University. I worked for many years in the home care industry and that helped open my eyes to the need for more mental health practitioners in our area. Between the undiagnosed mental illness and the over abundance of substance abuse I made the decision to go back to school and obtain a Post Master's Certification for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Northern Kentucky University in May 2021 and obtained board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center in June 2021. This is where my journey with you begins.
