Mary VanderZeyde, APRN, PMHNP-BC Pronouns: She/Her/Hers Mary VanderZeyde is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who is dedicated to improving the quality of life for her patients. At New England Psychiatry, Mary collaborates closely with each patient to not only treat symptoms but also identify the root cause and develop a personalized treatment plan. Her holistic approach aims to empower patients through a shared journey toward better mental health. Mary’s nursing career began in 1989 as a registered nurse. Her diverse experiences span emergency, correctional medicine, and forensic psychiatric nursing. As a travel nurse, she supplemented staffing shortages nationwide, gaining a breadth of experience in various healthcare settings. She is also certified as a sexual assault nurse examiner and served as an adjunct professor of nursing at Quincy and Curry Colleges. Her expertise is further enriched by her role at the prestigious McLean Hospital. Her skills include diagnosing mental disorders, prescribing medications, monitoring patient progress, and providing education. Mary is committed to adapting her practice to meet the needs of her patients and provides telehealth services.
