My name is Marylee Cassell-Quinto and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). For 12 years I worked as an Adult Probation/Parole Officer (PO), and for six of those years supervised men convicted of sexually abusive behaviors. In my work I learned I wanted to do more than just monitor my clients' conditions of supervision, and help them address the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that led to their path of offending, setting them up for success to not re-offend, and making our community a safer place. In 2015 I began treating incarcerated men, and those on probation and parole, with convictions for a sex offense and required to engage in sex offense specific treatment. It is not uncommon for my clients to say had they only felt safe to talk to someone before acting out, it may have changed their path in life. As an Approved Provider with the Alaska Department of Corrections, I provide state approved treatment for those convicted of a sexual offense. I can provide services to those who feel they have an addiction to pornography or are at risk for engaging in illegal sexual behaviors. I conduct risk assessments for those convicted of sexual offenses and testify in court to one's risk.
