Matthew has over 28 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. He brings experience from every level of psychiatric care to include: outpatient practice, acute care, residential care, therapeutic group home, therapeutic foster care, inpatient long term specialized residential care, intensive family services, and community based services. Taking a systems approach empowers real change and may result in working with each person in the family system. Matthew offers a variety of treatment modalities to include individual therapy, family therapy, marital therapy, psychodynamic groups, psychoeducation groups, multi-family groups, and parent coordination. He has specialized training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Love and Logic Parenting Skills, Child Maltreatment, ClayTherapy, SAFE Home Study, and Parent Coordination in high conflict divorce. Additionally, Matthew is EMDR 1, 2, and holds advanced training for complex trauma. As a frequently requested lecturer, Matthew has appeared on local television news programs, morning shows, and radio broadcasts. He provides consultation and supervision to multiple other professionals and organizations and has served as a field instructor for graduate internship programs from three universities.
