Dr Syzdek built a small, boutique practice that gives each client the time and access they need to a psychologist. You won't be one of 35 clients seen in a week, which is typical in most practices. Instead you will have a dedicated, compassionate psychologist provide you the most evidence-based psychological therapy, coaching, or consultation. This practice is ideal for busy professionals, executives, health care providers, college students, and adolescents (ages 15+). Dr Syzdek caps his panel to 21 clients a week so each client gets what they need and deserve. He currently can practice telepsychology across the country in 40 states and in-person in Lakeville, MN. He uses cutting-edge behavior therapies based on the best science in the field. He has specific expertise in treating depression, worry, social anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, and substance use problems. He will match you to the most effective therapy for your issue while individualizing a treatment plan to meet your specific goals and needs. You should receive more than a cookie-cutter treatment plan. With a boutique practice you get access to the best treatments customized for you. Some people think they may not be able to afford high quality and customized psychotherapy services. In fact, clients can choose to submit their bills to their insurance provider. Out of network benefits can often reimburse clients 50-60% of the charges after their deductible. HSA/FSA cards are also accepted. The client portal will provide whatever documentation is needed to help clients receive reimbursement, so clients don't have to sacrifice quality care. When selecting a clinician, it is important to know what experience and training they have. Dr Syzdek's prior experience spans levels of care and treatment settings. He received master's degrees from Clark University and Boston College. Beyond psychology, he received a MBA from the University of St Thomas and a graduate certificate in Organizational and Leadership Coaching from Northwestern University.
