As a therapist, my approach is rooted in the belief that every person is a unique individual, deserving of acceptance and respect. I am committed to providing a safe environment where we can openly discuss thoughts, emotions, relationships, and situations without fear of judgment. My hope is that our relationship will be characterized by authenticity, collaboration, and honest communication to help you reach your goals. I would describe my counseling style as primarily person-centered while borrowing tools and techniques from solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, along with existential and spiritual philosophies. I hold a limited license in counseling in the state of Michigan, which I have maintained since 2022. I obtained a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Central Michigan University in 2022 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Ferris State University in 2016.
