My therapy style is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). After nearly a decade of practice in mental health, I have leaned toward a client-centered, goal-focused approach that gives people tools to effectively manage stressors and difficult life circumstances. My professional experiences include working as a primary therapist at the Partial Hospital Program at Mount Sinai Hospital, and as a therapist at an outpatient substance use treatment center in Manhattan, just to name a few. I received my degree with distinction from the University of Connecticut, and I have completed training in DBT, CBT, and MI. All aspects of my practice are HIPAA compliant.
