Hi, I’m Matthew Tompkins, LPC, and I’m here to support you through life’s challenges. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or past trauma, my goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where we can focus on your unique needs and goals. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri and completed my master’s degree in counseling at Webster University in 2016. I further specialized with a degree in counselor education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2018. With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked extensively with adolescents, couples, trauma survivors, military members, and law enforcement. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients achieve meaningful change. My advanced training also includes certifications as a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and Tele-Mental Health Provider. A proud southeast Missouri native, I’ve served in the Missouri Army National Guard for 12 years. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and our five kids. My passions include playing and recording music, exploring the outdoors, and cheering on my favorite sports teams. I’m here to meet you where you are, providing telehealth sessions that fit your life. Let’s take that first step forward, together.
