Maxine is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) at Community Advocates for Family and Youth (CAFY) providing mental health services to victims of crime in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Her passion is to help the wounded to heal. She is a trailblazer and trendsetter as she serves as an advocate to children and their families who have been victims of domestic violence. Maxine provides pastoral counseling and psychotherapy with integrative spirituality to victims of trauma, grief, and other mental health concerns. Maxine has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and minor in Business Management from the University of Maryland University College, an Honors Graduate Master of Divinity Degree, in Theological Studies, from Howard University School of Divinity, and a Master of Science Degree in Pastoral Counseling at Loyola University Maryland
