Introduction

Healing 180 Counseling is dedicated to helping adults restore their lives and make a 180—turning away from pain and moving toward hope, healing, and meaningful change. Through compassionate care, you can reclaim your life and begin creating a new path forward. Whether you're navigating unexpected challenges, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or trying to make sense of your past, seeking therapy can be a powerful first step in committing to your healing journey. I offer trauma-informed therapy for adults seeking healing and renewal. My mission is to walk alongside you as you rediscover joy and strengthen your connection with yourself and others. I believe each person carries unique inner strengths that, when nurtured, can lead to clarity, peace, and a more purposeful, fulfilling life. Using a diverse range of evidence-based interventions, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and help you achieve lasting, transformative results. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and Master’s degrees in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Addiction Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. I have received extensive training in trauma treatment, including advanced certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Both ART and EMDR are proven effective treatments that provide lasting relief for issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, anxiety, grief, and phobias. In addition to my private practice work, I have experience as a counselor at both a dual diagnosis treatment center, helping individuals who struggle with addiction and mental illness, and an inpatient psychiatric facility. If you are seeking extra support and guidance or are ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. For those who desire a Christian perspective, I integrate faith and research-based therapy to provide support and understanding. The level of incorporation of faith into the counseling experience is at the discretion of the client and is not a requirement for obtaining services. I see individual clients aged 18 and older. You can reach out to me through the request appointment button today.
