Change can be an uncomfortable and unwelcome part of life. I offer a therapeutic environment that is warm and welcoming; a safe place to work through feelings and fears, as well as a place to cultivate and invite hope. Whether you are coping with the loss of a relationship, change in career, death of a loved one, or one of life’s countless other unexpected turns, I am here to work alongside you as you navigate your way to the other side. I utilize a compassion-focused approach to helping clients realize their strengths, develop insight and understanding, and master the coping skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. With several years of experience as an art therapist and grief counselor with hospice, I know that loss, change, and life transitions can be the source of great suffering, and that they can also be the catalyst for incredible personal growth. Through the use of traditional talk therapy and the option of art therapy, I provide judgment-free support to children, teens, and adults with a client-centered approach that is based on their individual needs. If you are interested in beginning this journey, I would be honored to accompany you.
