*Currently accepting new clients.* I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) practicing in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have worked with adolescents and adults providing outpatient therapy through office settings, nature settings, college counseling, telehealth, and group therapy. I currently specialize in working with young adults who are struggling with anxious and depressed feelings as they go through new transitions in life. I work with those who are struggling with anxiety, low confidence and self-esteem, LGBT+ concerns, and relationship issues that can make parts of life feel even more overwhelming.. Counseling is based on building a unique relationship of trust. I aim to create an open, nonjudgmental space while we begin to explore the current challenges you might be facing. I utilize an eclectic style of evidenced-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) informed approaches. In our work together, we can also utilize mindfulness, art, music, and other activity-based approaches. Taking the first steps in counseling can often feel overwhelming. I aim to meet you where you are at as you begin to work towards your individual goals in wellness and growth.
