Megan leads with hope and curiosity to empower her clients to grow into their best selves. She works collaboratively with clients in order to understand them as a whole person, not just their problems. Megan believes patience, authenticity, and transparency are essential to build trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship. Megan specializes in working with adults and youth who identify as neurodivergent and/or on the autism spectrum, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals. As a counselor, Megan works with clients who are coping with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and relationship struggles. Megan is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (No: 133607) supervised by Jessica Longoria, LMFT (No: 93570) at Pacific Coast Therapy. She holds a masters degree in Psychology with a combined emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from University of Massachusetts Global as well as a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Monterey Bay. Megan has extensive clinical experience as a counselor working with adolescents in a dual diagnosis residential program and working with youth, adolescents, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in non-profit programs.
