Therapy is one of the most difficult and brave steps we can take to unwrite the stories that were told for us. As someone who always heard therapy was for "crazy" people growing up, I know the hesitancy and unease that can come from starting a new therapy journey. It is my goal to help my clients feel safe and empowered as they begin their work. I have been dedicated to creating a space that allows for personal growth through challenging and deconstructing the narratives we have believed about ourselves that are no longer true. Finding our voice in a world dedicated to dismissing it is the greatest strength we can harness. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy that allows space for you to explore new ideas about your life and the world. My hope is to create an environment safe enough for you to find your truth and let go of what no longer serves you. I focus heavily on deconstructing the social structures of oppression and inequality that hurt minority communities. I believe in humor and supportiveness, while also making sure to hold my clients accountable. I believe fully in acknowledging my own privilege and the impact of white supremacy on each of us. I aim to prioritize queer joy in my work. At the end of the day, my goal is to help you feel affirmed, confident, emboldened, and capable of burning it to the ground.
