Megan Silvestri is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified School Counselor in the state of FL. She has been working in the mental health field since 2009. Megan has worked in private practice as well as community mental health on the crisis unit, detox, outpatient, substance abuse, and court mandated programs. Megan is experienced with all ages ranging from 5 years old through adulthood. Megan has extensive training in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression. She is also a certified grief specialist. When not working, Megan spends her time with family, going to amusement parks, the beach, and her pets. She and her family are animal lovers. Megan grew up in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 2003 to attend UCF. She earned her Masters from Webster University and is currently working on her Doctorate at Florida Southern College. Megan’s counseling approach is individualized to meet the needs of the individual. During sessions, you can expect compassion and understanding. It is Megan’s goal to provide a safe space that is gentle, collaborative, and direct to help you better understand and find a solution to current or long-standing challenges.
