Meilani is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #135521, working under the licensed supervision of Judy Benvenuto, LMFT #88175, via Telehealth. Meilani earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Meilani enjoys working and connecting with adults, teens/adolescents, couples, and families experiencing a variety of mental health concerns and challenges including anxiety, depression, complex trauma, body image, life transitions, interpersonal relationship issues, and self-esteem. Meilani has experience working with diverse populations and specializes in working with the Asian American community. Meilani also honors and serves the LGBTQIA+ community and highly values inclusivity and equity. Meilani ensures to establish trust first and lead with authenticity and compassion. Meilani utilizes a client-centered, culturally sensitive, and collaborative approach with her clients and utilizes evidence-based therapy practices to help them reach their therapeutic goals and objectives. Meilani is passionate about helping clients improve their well-being, self-esteem, and confidence to live healthier, happier, and more productive lives. Meilani’s intention is to empower clients to reach their full potential and accomplish their intended goals while processing complex trauma.
