Everyone deserves an opportunity for growth. The therapeutic relationship is a trusting process. I use empathy, humor, and positive regard to create a safe space to discuss distress people experience throughout the course of life. I encourage my clients to identify and focus on the things they can control when dealing with depression and anxiety. Change is challenging and often unavoidable. I work with adults (over age 21) who are looking to overcome fears and struggles by helping them learn effective ways to cope and set and maintain boundaries. My goal is to guide individuals on the road to healing, empowerment, and success. I am a relational therapist and have developed skills in modalities such as Narrative therapy, Client-center therapy, & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients towards cultivating autonomy, self-confidence, and healthier relationships. I value the power of storytelling and drawing unique strengths that will help navigate through life experiences. As a therapist, I help clients realize that past negative experiences do not determine future successes. I am a firm believer that you do not get time back.
