My approach to therapy includes traditional cognitive behavioral therapies blended with somatic and shamanic healing. Holding a Master's of Science in counseling (2008), my continuing education has focused on somatic psychotherapy, attachment theory, hypnosis/regression therapy, archetypal analysis, and mindfulness. My Shamanic education began in 2016 and has included working under teachers such as Green Tara College, Anna Abraham, Isa Gucciardi, Nicki Scully, Zahra Indigo Rønlov, Alida Birch, Jan Engles-Smith, Annabel Du Boulay, and CIIS. The mind is not the only part of you that needs to be addressed if you would like to live a life not conditioned by your past. I don't believe in "killing the ego" but rather learning to resolve the relationship between light and shadow of the archetypes we choose to pattern our experience through in order to embrace fear and evolve into self mastery. As a practitioner, I believe in walking with my clients as they become responsible for the creation of their experience. This is not a simple task and takes significant effort as this path requires the mastery of your impulses, emotions, and body. You must have bravery to look into your own shadow. It can be painful and ungrounding. This path is not for the faint of heart. We will walk into the experience that you are having together--not bypass it--while simultaneously assisting you in developing the skills necessary to reflect who you are choosing to become. I will support you as you learn to alchemize your pain and reorder your relationships with your experiences. The primary methodologies that I use include: -Acceptance and Commitment Therapy -Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy -Depth Hypnosis -Soul and Power Retrieval -Energy Healing Please note that for some protocols, insurance does not currently reimburse. I also require consultation for some of the more intensive methodologies as they require certain foundational elements in your life to be established before engaging in them otherwise the benefit will be null.
