Introduction

I believe everyone holds within them the key to their own mental and emotional wellness, but at times may need help finding it. We all face challenging times and situations in our lives, and sometimes need some help getting through them. I specialize in treating individuals with anxiety, depression and life stage transitions. I also specialize in treating individuals who come from families affected by alcoholism or other dysfunctions, as well as those who are recovering from alcoholism and are already in a 12 step program. Treatment for all issues involves getting to know you and your history, family, and thought and relationship patterns. During our initial sessions we will delve in to the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them, and improving your life, in a sustainable way. I believe in providing a safe and welcoming space for adults who may be struggling with relationship issues, recovery from addiction, anxiety, or general life stage changes. As a compassionate and empathetic therapist I am dedicated to helping clients gain perspective and understanding, and in applying practical life skills.
