Hi, I'm Melissa. I graduated from Fordham University in 2017 with my Masters in Social Work. Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of working within foster care, family shelters, and school systems. Communicating feelings and emotions can be daunting. My goal is to be able to provide you and your family with a safe, peaceful and engaging environment where healing and growth are possible. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD/ADD, mood and behavioral challenges, low self-esteem, social skills, and adjustment issues. My approach is Strengths-Based, focusing on clients' strengths to set and achieve goals. I also utilize Person-Centered and Solution-Focused therapies. I believe that by making space to process our emotions and experiences, we can find balance in our lives. I look forward to providing comfort and encouragement to you and your family.
