Introduction
I have a speciality practice, Deeper Roots Therapy, focused on treating binge eating disorder, compulsive over-eating and bulimia, along with co-occurring issues of anxiety, depression and interpersonal relationships. I accept female and male clients, including pre and post-bariatric surgery. I utilize a Health At Every Size, non-diet, Intuitive Eating approach and have extensive training and experience in eating disorders, focused on mindfulness, somatic and cognitive behavioral therapy. Prior to my private practice, I was supervisor of an outpatient eating disorder program in Connecticut. My therapy style focuses on teaching mindful and intuitive eating, reconnecting you with your body and hunger cues, decreasing eating disorder symptoms and understanding your patterns to improve self-insight and acceptance.
