My Philosophy/Approach: Individuals have the strength and resources to meet their needs and solve their unique problems. Oftentimes, we get stuck in patterns of behaviors which no longer meet our needs. Change occurs when individuals are provided the safety and security of expression, and exploration of underlying patterns and are empowered to identify solutions. I work to empower individuals to take steps towards their own recovery. I utilize various skills and interventions aimed to identify problems, thoughts, behaviors and/or past trauma which halt progression towards goals. I have been trained in trauma-informed approaches as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory. *** Certified Supervised Visitation Monitor ***
