I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults who may be navigating anxiety, behavioral challenges, low self-esteem, perfectionism, life transitions, or the stress that can come with college and emerging adulthood. I also support families in strengthening the parent-child relationship, offering a safe and encouraging space where everyone feels heard and understood. With training in both play and activity therapy, as well as experience leading therapeutic groups, I tailor my approach to meet each client right where they are. Whether it’s learning how to manage big emotions, cope with change, or feel more confident in who they are, my goal is to help clients feel supported, empowered, and less alone. My clinical approach is rooted in a developmentally sensitive, brain-based framework that integrates polyvagal theory to help clients better understand their nervous system and emotional regulation. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship, recognizing that a sense of safety and connection is essential for healing. Through a compassionate and attuned approach, I support clients in exploring how past experiences, nervous system states, and the stories we tell ourselves shape our emotional and behavioral responses. By incorporating nervous system regulation strategies and adaptive coping tools, I guide clients in shifting from dysregulation to a place of calm, connection, and confidence. I believe therapy is a space to discover strengths, build self-awareness, and foster self-compassion. My hope is that each client leaves feeling more resilient and equipped to move through life with greater ease, insight, and a deeper sense of safety within themselves and their relationships.
