This is the greatest job in the world. I cherish every session, and I learn so much from my resilient and courageous clients. So what am I about? Well, this is a second career for me (or a third if you count the tireless work of having and raising children!) My background is in education and community development. I've been married almost 19 years and have four children. Whether I am working with an individual, couple, or a family, I help clients access and accept emotions and identify their negative interactional patterns with partners, family members, and perceived others. We work together to restructure healthy interactional patterns as clients gain a better understanding of themselves and the way they navigate relationships. I believe that everyone is impacted by their culture, family, biology, spiritual life, as well as their mental and physical health. As I mentioned before, it is a privilege to sit in vulnerable spaces with my clients and help them promote change in their lives. I would love to work with YOU, too!
