Born and raised in Wichita, Michael earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wichita State University in the fall of 2010. He then earned his Master's of Science in Family Therapy in 2013 from Friends University. Michael enjoys working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, especially children, and has specific training and experience with Play Therapy and Sandtray Therapy. He is also certified in Prepare/Enrich, a Couples and Premarital program. Additionally, Michael has over 20 years experience working with individuals with Autism and special needs. Michael has experience working with ADHD, abuse/neglect, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, early childhood development, relationships, LGBTQ, gender identity, divorce, and stress management, just to name a few. Michael believes everyone has what they need to live a happy and healthy life, and works passionately with his clients to help them accomplish their therapy goals. Using a variety of therapeutic techniques, Michael works in conjunction with families, couples, and individuals to help them realize and develop their own unique solutions. He strives to create a warm, inviting, safe place for therapy, and believes in the power of laughter.
