I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and an Accelerated Resolution (ART) Therapist. I am also certified in trauma (Certified Counseling Trauma Professional) & EDIT™ Certified I - Eating Disorder Treatment Clinician working with teens and adults. I have spent my time serving the substance abuse population with co-occurring disorders. Today, I specialize in trauma, anxiety, substance use, domestic violence , LGBTQ+ issues, marital issues, eating disorders, and more. My main therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful thought processes and negative behaviors, improving regulating emotions, and the development of personal coping skills that targets around the current issue(s). I look at each client as an individual (no client is the same). No matter what you may come into therapy for and no matter similarities between past and current clients, I meet you where you are at. Every journey starts at various different places. With that being said, your therapy journey will be individualized.
