Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Relationship Issues, Life Transitions,

Introduction

I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in New York City. I treat adults, adolescents, and children suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family issues, problematic behaviors, and difficult life transitions. I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and utilize these modalities in a flexible and integrative manner to provide individualized care that best meets the needs of each patient. I take a steady, open-minded, and empathic approach to understand the nature of my patients' challenges. I seek to honor the complexity of each individual's circumstances and work to create a safe and trusting environment in which to understand entrenched patterns, process painful emotions, and develop new ways to get unstuck. I have found that the therapeutic process reveals avenues for growth and change while also building the capacity to proceed into an uncertain future with a greater sense of awareness and wholeness.
