Therapy is hard work. It is also full of humor, humanity, clinical guidance, check-ins, a-ha moments, advocacy, and a sprinkle of magic. I have been told "she will meet resistance with patience, gentleness, and freedom for you to exist exactly as you are" in the therapy room. You deserve to show up exactly as you are; all forms of you are always welcome. I've found when you show up as your most authentic self, the work can really begin. Asking for help may be the first step in calming the ongoing chaos. Clients I work best with are often connected to one or more of these groups: seeking empathy and directness; hope to cultivate more creativity; open to laughter and tears; strive for authenticity and a dose of audacity; fans of thinking outside the box; struggle with connection; appreciate metaphors and little moments; live a life of limited spoons; and want to feel heard. My goal is to support and walk alongside as you navigate the many moments of calm, celebration, complications, change, and everything in between. Welcome to the work, I'm glad you're here.
