Michelle’s work is based in honesty and attention to the uniqueness of each client. Every person has vast complexity and inner wisdom; a major goal in therapy is to help clients explore and access that wisdom. Additionally, we are all formed within systems, large and small, and awareness of these systems is crucial for identifying what ails us – and finding a meaningful place in the world. Michelle’s training is primarily in relational psychodynamic therapy, also drawing from somatic theories, narrative work, and archetypal/depth psychology. She uses a variety of tools and practical interventions, when needed, to promote well-being.
