Introduction

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience working in diverse settings, including community mental health agencies, schools, partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient programs, and private practice. I specialize in helping pre-teens and adolescents navigate anxiety, depression, and school-related challenges. In recent years, I've expanded my practice to support young and middle-aged adults facing life transitions and everyday challenges. You don't have to navigate life's ups and downs alone—I’m here to listen, support, and guide you. My goal is to help you build confidence in your choices while challenging negative behaviors and thought patterns. During your first session with me, you’ll discover that I’m strength-focused, solution-oriented, and insight-driven. As we continue working together, I’ll explore your family history, communication styles, and thinking patterns, with the aim of enhancing your self-awareness. My objective is to empower you to make lifestyle changes that resonate with your core values. I believe that every person has the inner strength and tools needed to overcome their most challenging days. My role is to help you uncover these resources, practice using them, and apply them beyond our sessions. Together, we’ll work to instill hope and build a sense of confidence that things can and will get better.
