Great to meet you! I have been working in the mental health field for the past 20 years in various treatment settings including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. I attended Rowan University and earned my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Applied Psychology. I am licensed in NJ and PA. I have a particular interest in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, women's issues, workplace issues, chronic medical issues, and codependency. My approach to therapy is person-centered utilizing mindfulness-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on the impact our thoughts have on our emotions and behaviors. I would describe my style as warm, humorous, relatable, and meeting clients where they are. My goal for the end of our session is to instill hope and to give clients the confidence to work on making changes to meet their desired goal. I try to give specific skills to work on between sessions in order to improve symptoms and maximize progress. Clients should expect to leave our sessions feeling validated and supported.
