Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward healing and growth. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Saint Louis University in 2003 and has dedicated her career to creating safe, supportive spaces where people can slow down, gain perspective, and navigate life’s challenges with clarity and strength. Michelle’s passion for counseling began in her own teenage years, when a life-changing experience in therapy inspired her to become a therapist herself. That personal journey shaped her deep belief in the power of authentic connection and compassionate care. Today, she considers it an honor to sit with others in their struggles, offering hope and tools for lasting change. Her clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches, and she has extensive experience helping clients work through issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment, and relationships. When desired, Michelle also offers faith-integrated counseling as part of a holistic path to healing. As the owner of Witt & Wisdom Counseling, she prioritizes creating a private, welcoming environment where each person’s story is honored and their well-being is the focus.
