I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado. I am passionate about inner growth and empowerment throughout all stages of life! I believe that the journey of human life is full of wonders and magic that manifests itself in mindful moments of connection with others, with oneself, and with nature. It is also my belief that we all want to be happy and live lives filled with meaning and purpose, moving towards growth and our own unique potential. Sometimes, however, we find obstacles in our paths, and when the obstacles become our focus we may fail to employ our strengths and resources, and may not notice that we have other options. It is my role, as a therapist, to promote self-awareness, uncover useful tools and internal resources to cope with life’s stressors, as well as to support my clients in expanding their options and perspectives, creating opportunities for their strengths to manifest so that they can keep on moving forward towards growth and wholeness. I believe in the power of healing and that each person contains the healing capacity within them. My intention is to provide a safe and inclusive therapeutic space within which healing and positive change can take place. I gently challenge and support my clients in developing a stronger sense of self-acceptance and self-love, as they build healthier and more productive relationships with others. I’m an attentive and patient listener. I don’t judge, and I don’t pretend that I know a person better than they know themselves. I believe that each individual is an expert in their life and I, as a fellow traveler, can offer support in their journey so that they can rediscover their own truth and path to healing and growth. It is that path of meaning, depth and purpose, aligned with one's inner truth and inner wisdom that I call the Soulful Path. My clinical focus is trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, dissociation, grief and loss, early trauma and attachment, life transitions, relationship issues and existential issues. In my practice, I employ a variety of treatment modalities, based on individual client’s needs, such as: EMDR, IFS, Integrative Somatic therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Strength Based SFBT, ACT and Creative Arts Therapies.
