I am a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate and PhD Candidate at the University of Washington earning my doctorate in School Psychology. Along with running my private practice, I am completing my predoctoral practicum at the Seattle Children's Hospital Gender Clinic, where I provide direct care to families of gender-diverse youth and have co-facilitated trainings on gender affirming care to hospital staff. I have also taught and guest lectured at the University of Washington around topics such as child development, education and family policy, and gender-affirming practices for youth populations, and provide supervision to counselor trainees in the UW School Psychology program. I have experience working with clients as young as preschool age through adulthood on a variety of concerns and presentations, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, self harm and suicidality. My clinical training is primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I utilize an integrative approach where I tailor my treatment to each individual's needs and preferences. For all clients, I favor a strengths-based approach that is affirming of all aspects of a client's identity. I am especially passionate about serving transgender and gender nonconforming individuals and can provide support around navigating social transition and exploring gender affirming care options. This includes conducting evaluations for letters of support for gender-affirming procedures.
