I am a licensed mental health counseling associate primarily working with youth and young adults. I hold a PhD in school psychology from the University of Washington, and along with my private practice, I work as a mental health clinician in community mental health. With a comprehensive background in school psychology, early childhood and special education, and psychology, I bring a holistic and culturally responsive approach to my practice. My expertise is in leveraging arts-based mindfulness to promote psychological wellness, particularly among racially and ethnically diverse youth and gender-diverse populations. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing evidence-based mental health assessment and intervention, with a commitment to delivering equitable care to BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I have extensive experience in various clinical settings, including community-based organizations, gender clinics, and school psychology training clinics. As the owner of Hart Psychotherapy Services, I offer psychodiagnostic intakes and individualized therapy sessions, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and legal standards. I am passionate about fostering psychological wellness through innovative and inclusive practices. My research on arts-based mindfulness has been recognized at national conferences, and I have had the honor of presenting on topics related to gender diversity and school connectedness.
