If life has felt particularly hard or upsetting recently, know that you don’t have to navigate it alone. As a trauma-informed psychotherapist, I work with people living with anxiety, depression, grief and more. I frequently meet with adults who have experienced childhood trauma, helping them to understand past experiences and thrive in the present and future. My clients have often realized that their current coping skills are no longer working, and in seeking therapy are taking an important, difficult and necessary step to feel better. I can help you to treat yourself kindly, let go of guilt and shame, and get unstuck. Together, we'll explore emotions, challenge old habits and narratives, and find new ways to move forward. I’m a big believer in the power of breath and movement and often work with clients to develop self-soothing tools to take on the go. I bring empathy, curiosity, and an open mind to each meeting. I practice therapy as a collaboration and will actively listen to you when you tell me who you are and how you feel. I focus on building trust as a necessary base to begin our work. I’m happy to discuss what this might look like for you – please reach out to set up an initial session.
