I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who believes therapy is a collaborative journey. I take a person-centered, holistic, empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to help clients work towards achieving their goals. I operate from a multicultural lens and utilize a client-centered, trauma informed approach in my work. I provide a confidential, open-minded and supportive space where you will feel seen, heard and understood. Through this collaborative journey we will work on setting and meeting your goals. I work with adults and have successfully worked with women and college students/emerging adults for the past 8+ years. I have worked with a diverse group of people with a primary focus on underrepresented groups including BIPOC, biracial, multiracial, LGBTQIA+, immigrant and first-generation communities, international students, Muslim communities and women. You are the expert of your life. I am here to help you find healthy ways to cope and make the changes you seek to create more balance and become the best version of yourself. Together we will build your toolkit to empower you to live a fulfilling and authentic life. Everything you need to make change is within you, let’s get to work! I received a B.S. degree from St. John’s University in Health & Human Services and a M.S. from SUNY College at Plattsburgh in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
