As a military veteran, I developed an interest in Mental Health wellness, and a particular fascination in the Trauma/PTSD specialty. Today, my passion is to help others overcome the effects of their trauma and live a much happier and fulfilling life. Trauma healing can and does happen, but it takes a great deal of work and long-term commitment. I attended the University of Southern California Social Work graduate program and graduated with my MSW in 2016. In my practice, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches such as humanistic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), guided meditation, mindfulness, EDMR and CPT. After meeting with me for your therapy sessions, you will feel gently challenged, and must be able to be open to see things from a different perspective. Journaling, self-reflection, meditation, mindfulness and/or workbook activities might be expected in between sessions. During our initial session, we will be able to discuss your therapy goals, and make a well-informed decision about what therapist personality and style you feel best fits your needs and preferences.
