From a young age, I have been interested in understanding the human mind and the ways in which our experiences shape us. I was raised by two wonderful, hard-working parents who instilled core values such as integrity, perseverance, and compassion. These principles have guided me through some of the most difficult times in my life. Experiencing deep emotional pain and profound loss has shaped my passion for counseling. The trials I have faced have not only tested my resilience—but also illuminated the path toward my true calling. These personal hardships have given me a unique perspective and an unwavering empathy for those who seek my help. My own journey through darkness has fueled my commitment to guide others toward healing, offering them the understanding and support I once desperately needed. Reaching out for help is an act of immense courage that often goes unrecognized. Acknowledging the need for support is not a sign of weakness, but a profound act of bravery. It requires confronting vulnerability, breaking through societal stigmas, and facing one’s fears head-on. This courageous step signifies a commitment to personal growth and healing. Every time someone seeks my guidance, I am honored by their trust and inspired by their strength. It is this bravery that lays the foundation for meaningful change and transformation in their lives. As your therapist, I believe that connection is key and that a good "fit" between client and therapist is essential for healing. I want my clients to feel truly seen and valued for who they are. My goal is to create a warm and accepting environment where they can express themselves without fear of judgment. I strive to foster a deep sense of empathy and understanding, so they feel heard and validated. I want my clients to experience a genuine, supportive connection that encourages their self-discovery and personal growth. By providing a safe and nurturing space, I hope they feel empowered to explore their feelings, overcome their challenges, and realize their fullest potential. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with incredibly brave clients. As someone who is all too familiar with divorce, co-parenting, finding love again, all while trying to be your best self—I find it incredibly rewarding to work with women who are learning to navigate life after divorce, as a single mom, or struggling in their current relationship because they want to avoid past mistakes. I consider it an honor to work with bereaved individuals who are learning to navigate life with grief. I’ve also worked with teens and young adults to help them regain their sense of self after struggling with self-esteem and body image issues. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing the transformation that occurs when my clients begin to understand their thoughts and emotions, and learn to navigate them in healthier ways. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change and growth, and it would be my privilege to walk alongside you on your path towards healing and self-discovery.
