As a bi-racial therapist of South Asian descent, I work well with college students, professionals and third culture adults who are coping with issues of perfectionism, anxiety, depression, OCD, self-esteem issues, relationship and career challenges that hold them back. From a values-driven lens, we will work together to make meaningful behavioral changes designed to bring more purpose and vitality to your life. I offer interventions from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including ACT, Psychodynamic, IFS, Existential, and Narrative therapy, as well as provide therapy in both English and French. Additionally, using ACT for Couples and Emotionally-focused Therapy (EFT), I help straight and LGBTQ+ couples seeking relationship counseling for communication and sexual issues, interracial relationship differences and struggles, difficult family dynamics, and dealing with the pain of infidelity. My experience growing up in a multicultural family helps me hold space for you as we process the nuanced complexities of your own racial and cultural experiences. I use a culturally sensitive approach to understand your experiences impacted by oppressive systems and help externalize feelings of guilt and self-blame you’ve unfairly been carrying.
