I am honored to build an affirmative practice that brings in-depth, contemporary, relational psychotherapy to my community. I hope to build therapeutic relationships that encourage my clients to process and fully experience emotions, move through depression and anxiety, and re-frame negative thoughts and patterns with a deeper understanding of their origins. Together, we engage bravely (and playfully) with unexamined thoughts, feelings and experiences! My practice is defined by values surrounding queer-positive and trans-affirming care, sex- and body-positivity, and a commitment to dismantling internalized oppressions and confronting privilege and power in the therapeutic relationship. Rooted in feminism, social justice and intersectionality, my objective is to offer competent, contemporary and informed therapy for my community. I work with individuals, couples and families on topics including sexual and gender identity, coming out, non-traditional relationships and families, polyamory and negotiating open relationships, BDSM and D/s relationships. I have a passion for working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, genderqueer, and non-binary individuals & their loved ones. My practice is currently a virtual one. I am able to see clients from all over California, Oregon (and soon Washington!) over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video chat platform. Seeing clients remotely allows me to see clients from further outside the radius of my physical practice, creating greater access to LGBTQ+, kink-savvy and poly-aware therapy in less metropolitan areas.
