**Now taking new clients** I am a licensed clinical psychologist who supports clients in a safe, caring environment to help them cultivate positive changes and improve their lives in a meaningful way. I focus on building supportive, caring, effective relationships that incorporate cutting-edge research, evidence-based interventions, cultural context, and a person-centered foundation to help children, adolescents, and families make lasting positive changes. I pull from a variety of traditional and non-traditional evidence-based approaches to create a unique experience for clients. I tailor each treatment plan to fit the needs of each person or family, ensuring a collaborative approach to treatment and goal setting. My specialty education in mindfulness, coupled with years of personal practice and training others (ingroups and individual settings), provides me with a unique perspective on problems—combining the best available treatments with a more holistic approach. I spent a year training in gold standard dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), which can help provide powerful tools for various issues interfering with interpersonal relationships, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. I find that these skills can be helpful for a variety of needs. By using cognitive-behavioral approaches, my clients and their parents are empowered to make changes that lead to lasting improvements. I pull from a variety of evidence-based interventions including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, and trauma-focused interventions to manage various problems—including depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, emotion regulation concerns, insomnia, chronic pain, and sports performance issues.
