Monique Hawthorne, Mental Health Counselor. She has experience working with various ages, from early youth to adults, including people with Intellectual disabilities. She likes to refer to herself as an “Edutherapist” as she utilizes her education and psychology background to provide therapeutic techniques for students in the classroom and clients in the office. She specializes in developing healthy interpersonal relationships, social-emotional learning, and mental wellness, such as self-care, self-talk, and reframing challenging/adverse experiences. Using an integrative therapy model, including narrative therapy, cbt, and mindfulness techniques. Her goal is to provide a safe space for clients to express themselves, heal, and gain tools to navigate life challenges.
